Rain Day internet surfing

Surfing on the internet with my 7 yr old grand son and we googled for 1929 Model A pickups for sale. My grand son claims ownership to the '29 Pickup I have and is quite an authority on Model As in general, (have 5 of them) as is his 11 Yr old brother. Saw this ad and pulled it up
https://www.cruisinclassicsinc.com/1...ckup-c-497.htm

First thing he said is that it is not a 1929, but a 30-31, when we got to the engine compartment he saw the indented firewall and said go back to the top.

I have read many statements asking what is the future of our hobby with the younger generation, I feel that with young ones like mine the future is bright.

You are doing a great job of educating the younger generation.

That is a sharp-eyed kid.

Not to nitpick, but wouldn't that have had a black grill shell when it left the factory?

It is a mighty nice truck.

"black grill shell when it left the factory" yes and many other things aren't correct or fitted out like they should be. Be a driver..

I agree. Roll 'em as you like 'em - thin and wispy or fat and ugly.

Yea, I know where Idabel is. Went to church camp at Beaver's Bend when I was a kid several hundred years ago.

I don't roll pasta OR biscuits. I was expecting to be asked "joints or ladies".

Beavers' Bend is BEAUTIFUL! My Cousin usually bags a DEER, every year, on an Island, in Broken Bow Lake ! The DALLAS/FT WORTH Model A Club comes there OFTEN!

It is nice down there.

Fresno, eh? As Will Rogers once said, "During the dust bowl many Okies migrated to California. Raised the intelligence level of both states."
