Re: Beasley Motors In my hometwown of Lancaster Ohio the Ford dealer was Fred Beasley of Beasley Motors. My 1946 Ford I bought in 1971 from original owner still had the Beasley Ford license plate frame on it from new. It may be the same Ford dealer as he was pretty well established in Ohio and beyond. The local dealership changed to his son-in-law during or after the war to Dick Holzer Ford. I still have the Beasley Ford license plate frame.

Re: Beasley Motors You’re probably right....the tag does have Pittsburgh, Pa
Car the engine came from was parked about 1970 Didn’t notice the tag till I did some cleaning I don’t know what was used to undercoat back in the day....say 1940 But the oil pan has an even coating of something like asphalt....definitely not ancient oil and dirt |
