Re: Aus members here?

here in Canada in the 30-40-50s those sure grip studded tires were common place tires on all kinds of vehicals. I have a 1940 plymoth coop with them on the back. I have a good set of 21"and 475-550-19" still that are decent I have a 1951 M-3 3 ton truck with them on it as duals on the back. they are not tractor tires they were on everything here back in the day. I'm not sure what there used for over there but I have seen them on 4x4 trucks in AUS so somebody brings them in somehow

yeh, I guess I should register my presents here in Au.
Tocumwal which is on the Murray. My house infact on the river bank.
A town of 2,000 and our industry is substantially irrigated agriculture. This year we have a nil water allocation. There is plenty flowing down the river, I see it by looking out my window. It's all going to sea to please the greenies and they mostly never seen the Murray. They are inner city people who disrupt normal working and contributing industrious people. cheers, gary

Hi from Tasmania, 40south 147 east to be exact. Home of all the beautiful wine, cheese, gin, whisky and many other delectable eats and beverages.
Looking forward to the finish of the Sydney to Hobart race and next year the Australian Wooden Boat show.
Home over looks Fredric Henery Bay close to the Hobart airport, we site the odd whale or two every so often, good fishing, nice beach for swimming, and just a good place to be.

I drop in occasionally. I am in the ACT. It's only going to be in the high 30s C today.
By the looks of those tyres I reckon you could climb Mt Kosciusko with them.
A lot of factories in Aus and other places only make products for certain customers/markets that are in other countries.

So far, it seems we haven't come up with anything to help Beater. If he has tried to contact the makers in Indonesia or Malaysia, maybe the language thing is a problem. I am sure there is an online translator you could use but I'm not sure how good they are with grammer and syntax. Does anybody know someone who could act as translator for him? If they won't ship to Canada, I'd be prepared to forward them on for him if that helps.

Try: http://www.kroytire.com/contact.html
You could try emailing them, they've been in business for a long time but their website doesn't say much.
