Any good auto body supply store. I needed a can of Lombard blue. Took my paint and finish guide and the guys were spot on.

Just curious, what was the cost? I was quoted, if I recall correctly around $100.00 and could have been more.

My paint supplier has a one pint minimum which amounts to about 4 cans. I don't recall for sure but I think about $75

Crud. I just need one can of base coat black to do a steering wheel.

Yeah, TCP Global can mix up a quart but I don't need that much. I though I saw that one of the suppliers sold a limited number of stock colors in spray cans. ...maybe I dreamed it.

Thanks,
Carl

On my wheel I went with Krylon Fusion. I.5 years ago and no signs of coming off. Fusion is designed for plastics.

There was a company called tower paint that did it. With any paint you buy in "stock" colors you have to be sure yours is the same "stock" color. check your car against the national clubs color chips before you order to be sure yours truly matches.

A lot of older restorations used whatever color looked close in the paint books. I used hunter green then mixed in some black and some blue until I got it close.

Has anyone ever ran across a Thorne Brown. Also what pant dealers have you been using.
