Modify stock heads??
 

Hey.....
I bought a parts engine that has a 3/4 cam in it. Can I modify the stock merc 255 to accept the higher lift ??

More info....merc 255 flathead in car running. Parts engine has cam and lifters I will swap if I can find heads or modify stock ones....If possible?
Have 48 offy aluminium heads that I can't use on the 51.
