Flumuxxed Installed my refurbished OD-C1A/B wiper, Only the hand wiper stem protrudes, he on/off switch is buryed in the upper windshield hinge. What am I doing wrong?

Re: Flumuxxed That would have been used up to about March of 28 closed car. 3 things I could think of, the boots are mounted wrong, windshield mounted wrong or shaft was broke or cut off short.
Does the end of the off on switch have two flats on the sides or is it round? Oh next time, for pete sakes, put what you are asking as a title so people see it. |

Re: Flumuxxed The wiper motor appears exactly like tthe drawing in ehe standards. I notice in tth service bulletins that the on/off switch comes out beneath the windshield frame
(pg 246). Also the mounting arms of this motor have a rather thick rubber pad. Is this pad supposed to b e there? |
Re: Flumuxxed The pad is a cup style that goes over the ends. Which body are you working with? I think the closed end with curved area was for the 4 doors the open end was for others.

Re: Flumuxxed RE " I think the closed end with curved area was for the 4 doors the open end was for others." I found out today I got that reversed. Are they the pads shown in Snyders link or something else? Right now without a photo it is more then I can help. I suggest starting a new question with your problem in the title. Sorry I can't be more help.
