That is some wild artwork for sure! Fortunately it will only go a few hundred yards with that small gas tank. That and a Hemi with a blower that gets a few hundred feet per gallon.

Not my cup of tea, but some beautiful work just the same. Can you imagine the hours and dollars that were spent on this.

Well here we go.... 6v-12v, 1 tail light 2 tail lights, turn signals, seat belts???
It's truly is a work of art and creativity, most of us most likely can't come near the talent it took to put this together. Ugly -waste of material. Mmmm jealousy?? This is just another form of automotive love. We love ours, they love theirs. We wouldnt like anyone calling our A an Ugly -waste of material. Can't we all just be nice and appreciate automotive art? Stock or modified

I've got doubts that it was ever a model A . If it ever was a model A, its a shame the loss that was made of it .

I would say from the 1/4 panels its a 30 - 31. I suspect that it's hand made. Either Metal or Fibreglass.

I'm with you (in age and thought).
Lucky for us, there are dreamers, thinkers and doers !
ANYBODY, even me, can rebuild most of that which has already been built (I.e.-restore). I say most, because what tiny % could even replicate what they see here ...even given the time/money/resources ?? Cool, indeed...rock on buddy !

An old site addage: It you don't like the title/subject, just walk on by..

Re: What Year Is This Coupe ?

Not my style....at all, but the workmanship is stunning. Also, he did a remarkable job of having every piece compliment every other piece. It has a style consistency to it.

It DID NOT ruin a good Model A. In fact, it was built on a 1924 Singer (a British car). I'm not sure why he built it left-hand drive...perhaps it is an homage to American Hot Rod culture, or because he thinks his sales market is outside the UK. It does have a plate on it. It could be the UK equivalent of a Dealer or Repair plate. I can't say. It is blurred out. I can't imagine it would pass MOT.

Here is a link to an article that gives some detail and a video of it running.
The Automatron

Still, not my thing, but I sure wish I had that level of skill.

The rear wheel wells sorta resemble 1932 .

Re: What Year Is This Coupe ?

I'd say this thread could be categorized as "Provocative". An over-the-top car like that gets over-the-top comments. As far as the car goes, not my cup of tea but like others have said, obvious amazing talent in workmanship. Thanks for posting.
