Rear bumper arms Are there differences in the lengths of the rear bumper arms? The right one looks shorter on my '30.
Thanks Dick |
Re: Rear bumper arms 1931 Town Sedans have rear bumpers with a sharper curvature. Otherwise the bars are all the same. There are differences in the lengths of the bumper arms.

Re: Rear bumper arms If you can access there’s a complete detail of all models on Marcos barnyard.

Here's Marco's info.
Can't get it any bigger because the image is quite a bit taller than it is wide and it seems the forum software downsizes quite a bit in that situation. If you can't make it out I can re-post as 2 images. - https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/attac...7&d=1627798716 |

Believe this is a copy from an original Ford source to which Marco Tahtarus has added edits in Red. Note at bottom that some models appear to be missing. What this mostly shows is that the position of the brace running from the rear body subframe crossmember to the main bumper arm varies significantly between models and is the main thing to look for when trying to identify.

Re: Rear bumper arms So is the overall length the same? On my '30 Victoria the right side is much closer to the rear fender.
