Edison Spark Plugs

I recently picked up an all original 29 Tudor that runs. I noticed the plugs looked very old. They are Edison brand spark plugs. Has any one ever heard of them? Any info on them would be appreciated. Thanks, Dan.

A couple of pics of the Edison Plugs. Note the number 37T stamped into the body of the plug. The number is present on both plugs.

Thanks for the link Bill, I always enjoy your posts. Spark plug collecting is an addiction I was able to brake free of a few years ago, and reduced the collection to 100 keepers. It sure was fun when they were affordable. Here is a For-A-Ford plug that is one of my favorites.

Roadster62,
On my '30 coupe, with 6 volt alternator and stock distributor, I cut the ground electrodes off a set of 3X plugs, and drove it that way for a month. Ran good.---Bill W.

Those Edison plugs look really nice. I wouldn't mind a set, just to own them. I've never seen, nor heard about them.

I know they are not the factory plugs, but what number are the correct Edison plugs for a Model A Ford?

I know somebody that has a set. He laughs at me when I ask him if he'd sell them to me.
