1939 Ford truck door jamb striker-plate

A good friend of mine ins building a 39 big truck ,full restoration. He has been at it for 20 years or so ,but the end is close and it is beautiful ! he cannot find the little plate or hardware that the striker plate bolts to on the inside of the jamb "The door latch striker plate assembly part" The part that the striker plate screws into ,behind the door . Any help would be great as this has stopped him in his tracks
