Blower Motor Resistor - 1968 F100

I have been going absolutely bonkers trying to find a replacement blower motor resistor - I don't understand why this should be such a hard part to find.

I have a 390 with heat and no AC - I've just finished completely rewiring it with a new harness. In that process, we found the blower resister broken and now this is holding us up from finishing.

If anyone has a lead on where I can get one or a way to 'rewire' it, it would be greatly appreciated.

I've seen posts (can't remember where) that suggested other model Ford blower resistors would work, but can't find them either.

Thanks in advance for any direction or suggestions!

Would this work? Applies to Bronco but Ford extensively used common parts across model lines so it may be the same as used in your F100.

Unfortunately, no. Mine has three connectors on it with two resistors the connectors are in a "U" shape.

Thanks for the link though!

a picture will help as to a replacement as other manufactures used a similar way to control motor speeds.someone may make suggestion based on a picture and measurements.

I found a GM one that 'looked' like it at Summit Racing, but the holes weren't far enough apart and it wouldn't work.

I read the Mustang one would work, it has an extra connector for the AC - but can't find those either

Have you tried these folks? ..."Ford trucks for years 1932 to 1979"
... https://cgfordparts.com/

Always call or contact the parts counter people directly & confirm, don't just look at their online offerings and assume.

a picture with measurements will help a ton as most people may not know what you are talking about.but a picture may ring a bell worst case find one that meets the measurements but plug configuration different and use the matching plug if not going for a concourse look.
