Removing Windshield On a '51 Wagon I am getting my shoebox woody ready for paint. The old rubber around the windshields is hard. Not saving the rubber or glass. What procedure do you recommend? I have the inside garnish rails off and have run a plastic wedge tool around the circumference but the glass is cracked but not coming out. What is the easiest way to pop it out? Anybody know? Thanks.

Re: Removing Windshield On a '51 Wagon Take a knife or other sharp bladed instrument and cut the rubber, going around the glass seeing how your not saving anything.

Re: Removing Windshield On a '51 Wagon A box cutting knife has always worked for me.

Re: Removing Windshield On a '51 Wagon Ended up just busting the windows out, then removing the rubber. Big mess but works. Couldn't cut that old brittle rubber much.
