Fan clearance for one, or biggest. Think you need truck waterpumps and a truck oil pan.

Oil pan clearance. Don't think you can use stock 8BA pan.

Some of it depends on how you want to go about it. You can change over the front of the block to 59a timing cover, distributer, etc, that helps some. This type of installation has been done many, many times, but it does take some changes, modifications, such as water pumps/engine mounts. The distance between the motor mounts is different, there is a spacer that solves that issue. Oil pan clearance is also a problem area. The later engine does not have provisions for stay rods, also a fairly easy fix.

You will also have to buy or make some adapters for the engine stay rods to avoid chatter and undue pressure on engine/transmission mountings.

Luckily, the pickups have more room and straight up and down radiators. Mercury cars and F series trucks have the rear sump pan. They also have the clutch & half bell needed to use the old OEM type top shift transmission. The flywheel may need to be redrilled for a 9"or 10" Long type clutch or the 10" Borg & Beck can be used.

There are several forms of steady rod modifications on this board if a search is performed.

Here are someone's photos of anti-chatter rods adaptors. By the way, that looks like it might be an 8ba in a 33/34 frame.
