1936 Ford Pickup Shock Absorbers
 

Where can I find some original Shock Absorbers for a '36? Im trying to make it all original but cant find any. Any info would be great!

I believe the car and the pick up use the same shocks, if so (check this out). The rears are the same from Feb 34 thru 36. The fronts with their pressed on arms are unique pieces to 36.

I bought mine at Hershey, found NOS for prices less than rebuilding, if you are more worried about function there are later front shocks that Ford listed as replacements ---37-to 40 or so for fronts, and as has been mentioned the rears 34-36 for rears unless you have a late 36 frame that takes the 37 on style

the original fronts had the covers crimped on ---not that easy to rebuild, and rebuilt ones most likely loose the detail of the crimp
