160-B top wood

I have a slant window 4-door with all the top wood in need of replacement. Can all of the wood be replaced with the cowl/firewall section attached to the rest of the body, or does it need to be cut and removed?

I restored a straight window fordor, including all the wood, and am wondering how similar that process is. Thank you all!

By looking at mine I would say yes.
I don't see the need to remove anything other than. the wood.
I am by no means an expert in this field and would defer any advice to more knowledgeable members

We replaced the front header in my nephew's slant window with everything still attached. Although tight tolerances, I don't think that it would be necessary to dismantle the cowl section from the main body. Good luck with your project.

The front header cover is tack welded
You have to take the cover off to get a header in and out
