Convertible back window frame source?

I'm looking for a chrome rear window frame and either some kind of lightweight glass or plexiglass for a convertible back window. I figured this was something readily available reproduction but I haven't had any luck. Does anyone have a source? Thanks!

You did not state what year of a vehicle you are looking for. As a general rule the open cars of the '30's, early '40's, had a rear window that is generally approx 6" x 20". Post war cars usually have a large frame-less plexiglass/plastic window.
The '30-'40 metal framed window is available from a couple of vendors, they are pretty pricey, I paid $550. in 2009 for the window in my convertible. It was brand new with a stainless frame..
I'll have to look up the vendors name in my records. PM me if you want the info..

Lebaron Bonney sold a very nice unit that is darn, darn close to authentic. Most, perhaps 99% of folks couldn't tell the difference.
They also sell the glass.

Check LeBaron Bonney, they usually have a variety of rear window frames for convertibles? You beat me to it KUBE.

In large cities, a person can generally find a plastic shop that will sell you either plexiglass (acrylic) or polycarbonate (lexan). Just about any thickness with in reason is available.

It can be cut but a person has to be careful with it since it can crack easily if the tooling tries to bind with it. I use only Unibits to drill holes. I rough cut it close with a band saw with a very good blade that is near new with no welds sticking out at the seam line then grind it to size with a belt or drum sander. This is the best way I've found to keep from cracking the stuff.

I like the LeBaron Bonney rear window as the 33/34 Phaeton window I used in my 32 roadster, the frame was stainless and the glass was tempered.
