1934 pickup rear bumper and brackets

I realize 34 pickups did not come with rear bumpers, however I would appreciate any pictures of the mounting arms people have fabricated for this application. Thanks for your assistance.

I fixed mine by using channel iron. Made a c shaped structure with 4 or 5 in channel iron, bolted it to the frame on both sides extending back so that when a channel was welded across the back, I could bolt 34 car bumper brackets to it. All the channel is totally out of sight under the bed.

The pu's were designed to allow the tailgate to drop down vertically, bumpers were in the way. This idea changed with bumpers there being smarter. Newc
