Yes, as Ray64 states; your status is based on number of posts. I think it is around 100 when senior status will occur.

I became a senior member and didn't even notice until I read this thread and checked my account. Would that be considered a senior moment?

Re: up grade status

When I first joined, I had the rank of "Junior Member". It had been years and years since I had been a Junior Anything!

Just head over to the HAMB. If you don't want to be a junior member here you can be a F**kin New Guy(FNG) over there.

Re: up grade status

Somewhere in between "junior member" and "senior member" you become just a plain "member." I'm not sure when that occurs.

Re: up grade status

1-25 = Junior
26-99 = Member
100-up = Senior

At least that's what I remember, but then again it may have been a "senior moment"

Re: up grade status

I'd rather read a factual, documented truth from someone with one post than a bunch of hearsay, old wives tales, and biased pontification from someone with a million posts.

Reputation and respect is built upon a solid record of recognizable contribution,
not upon longevity nor upon numbers.
