I'm looking for a set of front drums 40/48. Don't care if they are oversize, I just want the hubs

Sorry, I thought I did have my location listed. I’ll figure that out in a bit. I’m in Oakdale, Ca.

Later had the hub on the outside but off the top of my head I'm not sure where the switch point is.

As a point of interest, the hubs/drums as an assembly are interchangeable for any year 1939 to 1948

Mart.

I had heard that, but was also told at one time the drum/hub needed to also match the backing plate aNd brakes as well?

You can use ANY hydraulic (Lockheed) Ford backing plate from 1939 thru 1948 along with ANY 1937 thru 1948 Ford 12" brake drum/hub assembly.

1937-'39 drums are of the wide-five (10-1/4") bolt pattern.

1940-'41 drum/hubs have the hub flange INSIDE the drum.

1942-'48 drum/hubs have the hub flange on the outside of the drum. DD
