1935 Sedan Convertible HELP

Good Evening Folks,

Just acquired my '35 at an auction last week and want to put the top down without damaging anything. I found a reprint instruction manual on Faxon but wondering if anyone here can give me guidance.

Thanks

Tom

My best advice is to follow the instruction from Ford. Do you have the manual you found?

Well now, you didn't want to put the top down in the rain, anyway. Welcome to the 'Barn! DD

Dont forget to get three guys to help the first time. Two to help and one to tell you how wrong you are doing it.

This is exactly right! Slow and sure, no pinched fingers, no torn canvas. At minimum, it's a two man job even when you know how to do it.

As others have said...Don't rush into lowering your top until you have studied the pamphlet forward and back. Here's what the cover of the pamphlet should look like.
