bulletproofing a columbia
 

Hello all
Im looking for information and pictures would help me best, of how to bulletproof a Columbia .
I have been searching, here and the HAMB, cant find anything to help.

John brought one to my attention that had been sitting for 15 years after being done by Joe Longobardi, long since retired, took it apart, and saw that the bulletproofing had been done just like that.

Using the information in the link I posted above, I bullet proof my own Columbias...The last one I did, a 1936 version, I purchased one of John's billet A-24 assemblies, and it is a beautiful thing. Using the billet A-24, you don't need to cut down the cross....
