Edelbrock head identification help

3 Attachment(s)
I found a set of Edelbrock heads in my dads parts pile. Block lettered, aluminum, center water inlet. They both have a “9” stamped into top side of each head at the base of the water inlets. Also have “DB 142” stamped into the inside edge (intake side). I know “9” means 9:1 compression, right? It what does “DB 142” mean? Also found a Grancor 2x2 aluminum intake. It doesn’t have generator mount on it.

Re: Edelbrock head identification help

Welcome to the Barn, that is a cool find. Sorry, I can't answer your question about the markings.

Re: Edelbrock head identification help

Welcome aboard. Your correct the number 9 would be the original compression ration. The DB 142 could be just about anything however its not related to any Edelbrock number.
