Re: Deuce Deuce? Deuce Squared?

I am sad to report that Ron Wetzel, the person I bought the 5 Window from, passed away in early April. I feel honored that he felt I was worthy of taking on his car. It is on the road now and driven regularly. I am sad that Ron was no longer able to do that. I was hoping to visit him this spring and take him for a ride. He was a Vietnam Vet and a contributor to David Rehor's book. Real nice guy.

Another loss to us all; may he rest in peace.

I meet Ron a few years back. Real nice fellow! He sent me drawings of a Model B exhaust system...at his expense! R.I.P. Ron

Thought I would check in. First off, I am modeling the car after what someone could have done in the 30’s and 40’s. No V8 or permanent modifications. Still a model B drivetrain. The wheels are Clarks, I reversed the eye on the front. I came to me with hydraulic brakes. I bought a lowered model B headlight bar. At some point I am adding a Simmons powerhead and burns intake.

The new look is OK I guess, but it looked really good in its original form, Put it back please. Regards, Kevin.

Anything I have done, I can reverse in an afternoon. I would never cut up or damage an original 32.

I am sure at some point, I will switch it back. (next years Eastern V8 meet?). There are many things on this car that need to be corrected before it was shown as a restoration. While I figure that out..and find stuff... it will look like this.

Missed owning one when i was 16; a long time ago. Dad's aunt it Kenton Ohio let go to the other side of the family. I got a rusty 50 6cyl instead. Retired fro Ford & still drive'n Fords.

Would appreciate a photo of the tool kit, probably nice to see lots of detail photos of it too.

Looks cool with the wheels and lowered A little in the front. A Crager overhead or Riley overhead would be cool for the next step.

Here is the tool kit... I was wishing it was in the car when the battery died the other day. Need to keep a hand crank in the car.

I'm really liking the slight rake, along with the wheels and "big 'n little" tires. What type of tires did you end-up with? Really nice little coupe! DD

Tools look great, thanks for sharing. Anyone know if someone is making those wooden boxes for displaying tools?
