Re: flywheel? Yes it is the early one, and it looks very worn on the driving teeth & I would bet the fly wheel is also worn to bad to use..

Re: flywheel? I'd clean up the clutch pack and flywheel and use it in a 1928 if you have all the rest of the parts to be correct, unless the flywheel is too badly worn. Run a screwdriver tip up and down the internal teeth of the flywheel to see how bad it is notched. Mine looked bad, but after sandblasting, it looked like new with no notching at all.
