AA and BB interchangeable parts I just purchased a good 'Field Find' 1934 Ford BB truck and I was wondering what specific parts I have on hand, or can order, from the Model AA portions of catalogs, that I can use. I find that parts for the 4 banger engine are not available for instance. Are the rear hub seals the same on a BB as the AA? Etc. Thank you.

Re: AA and BB interchangeable parts Front axle is the same (except wishbone),brakes the same, rear seals are the
same if you have 3/4 floating rear axle. The late 1934 had full floating axle. The transmission is also the same. If you get this parts book you can compare what interchanges. https://modelastore.com/books/techni...oduct_id=18516 Bob |

Re: AA and BB interchangeable parts The BB engine is the same as the B engine. The BB designation only meant the transmission was a 4 speed. Most of the suppliers carry the B/BB engine parts. Be sure to check Renner's corner, rennerscorner.com, (734) 428-8424 if you are having trouble finding parts. When you get down to a few parts post them and ask for sources.

Re: AA and BB interchangeable parts You need a "green book", it's a parts book covering 28-48, you will see that some parts fit a lot of years
