Radiator shell bronze emblem ID. Hey guys... Just receive a Model A 28-29 style radiator shell with a bronze finish oval Ford emblem in raised letters... Do you know if it's an original Ford piece or reproduction, Model/Year... Many Thanks.

Re: Radiator shell bronze emblem ID. I had a belt buckle once that looked like that, made of bronze. What size is yours? What does the back look like?

Re: Radiator shell bronze emblem ID. That bronze rad emblem is correct for Ford of Canada cars for 1930 only. I’ve seen lots including on winners in fine point judging

Re: Radiator shell bronze emblem ID. The canadian car emblems were black from 28 to 30.

Re: Radiator shell bronze emblem ID. The judging standards have a picture of the 1930 Canadian one. It says, Page F-27, a dull chrome finish. So the original should have a bit of chrome left at least in the rough section. Size looks similar to the enamel 29 or a little bit bigger. We got this badge here in Oz for 1930-31.

Re: Radiator shell bronze emblem ID. Looks like a normal, aged radiator badge that is just missing the blue enameled background finish. Maybe a reproduction one that was never finished with the blue background or one where the blue background was stripped off.
