running issue

During Summer when it was hot I noticed that when the temperature got up on my car after a while, the engine started to run rough like a "bag of well kicked assholes".

Now winter is here ( we can drive our cars all year round in our temperate climate) I find the car runs a lot better without this issue. I also notice the temperature gauge does not peg as high. I have a good Skip rebuilt coil on it.

Any ideas what I should look at before Spring arrives?

Do you have that crappy ethanol gas over there? Or down there as it may be? We have it all over here in the states and it will boil at your fuel pump when temps are 80 degree plus.

It is often suggested that the condenser could cause those symptoms.

2nd that. You might crack the fuel line at the carb to see if you
have a full flow of gas. G.M.

If you haven't plugged the intake crossover for fun. Maybe a new fresh bag? :p

not trying to be funny but what is your average temps summer + winter and what temps does your engine run at as in my experience your engine should run at same temp approx summer or winter if your cooling system is working correctly just may take a bit longer to warm up in winter large variations in tempetature can cause no end of problems and is often overlooked when trying to trouble shoot

Re: running issue

You might not have a running hot problem, but a running rich problem, which becomes more obvious as it gets hotter.

Purely a guess.

Mart.
