Parting out a stock '47-8 Ford Super Dlx. 4dr. sedan . Orig. a Kern Cty. service vehicle, last owner took nice, complete car & cut off roof, chopped windshield, removed seats & dashboard assy. and removed eng./trans. by cutting through fwd. 'bell' & driveshaft w/torch directly behind trans. However, have a good, used '42-'48 Ford driveshaft & torque tube for the rear end assembly.

Chassis (frame & ft./rear susp. 4.11 gear ratio), sheet metal, bumpers, fuel tank, etc. in good shape (minor dents, no rust, surface pitting, rust holes, broken or bent mounting flanges/beads on fenders, running boards, gravel pans, etc.). Orig. black paint still visible on underside surface of all 4 fenders. Selling the parts & panels removed from vehicle (see images) individually or in pairs (where applicable) as listed below. Front susp. assy. & rear end/rear suspension assy. for sale (see details below).

7. *Ft. susp. assy. parts: tin covered ft. leaf spring w/orig. grease fittings, anti-sway bar, track bar (i.e., "Panhard bar"), steering tie rod & drag link, leaf spring & hardware (*No ft. drum brakes, spindles, wishbone, ft. axle or ft. shock mt.'s*) $150.00 for all or inquire for individual pieces.
8. *1948 Ford stock, used, orig. rearend & rear susp. assy. parts: Rear factory tube shocks mounts, rearend w/4.11 gear ratio, complete rear drum brakes. Tin sheet metal covered orig. factory rear leaf spring pack, track bar, driveshaft and torque tube (no radius arms). $300.00

Rear susp/rearend has been removed & disassembled & is for sale individually (rearend w/4.11 ratio, O.E. rear tube shock mounts, rear radius arms, rear track bar, O.E. rear leaf spring pack (wrapped in factory tin cover w/O.E. grease fittings intact).
