Date code?
 

I suspect this is a date code on the speedometer in my 37. Does not mean much I think, since my car was built in June or July 37.Attachment 420453

Based on the 12/36 I would say Dec. 1936
The '37 model cars were on the showroom floors in Sept-Oct of '36.
It sat on the shelf until needed in '37.
