A was cruising the Ford Archives this morning and stumbled upon this gem. It's a letter from Edsel Ford to Santa Claus written in 1901.

If the poor kid didn't have a tree for 4 years I'd say fat chance on getting a pair of skates.

Edsel would have been just over seven years old (b. Nov 6, 1893). Pretty good writing. No rub-out marks.

So the moral of the story is be careful what you write today because somebody may find it in a hundred plus years and post it on a Fordbarn website ( lol ) !
