I am in urgent need of a new water pump or a rebuild kit for the W/P in my 292 for my '61 Mercury.

There are lots of them for sale on e-bay(Rebuilt) less than $60.00 have you tried that ? Tee-bird Products sells them (NEW ) for less than $80.00. If they wont ship to you I have one that I believe is OK but no gaurentee,take your chance $30.00 Pluss shipping international.PM me if your interested

I have a bunch of NOS kits. Will look to see if I have one for a 61. I am abit confused as the Ford part # of the kit you need. That part # will help me out a bunch. My Quick reference shows me 4 different kits fof Y-blocks. Rod

So far I have found a couple of B7A-8591-A and one B6C-8591-A. I wonder if either of those interchange. The B7A-8591-A's are marked 272. Rod
