Any recommendations as top where to get a top (materials etc) for a 46-48 Merc drop top?

Look up Electron Tops on the web. Excellent quality, large selection. Have one on my 49 convertible.

If getting from the U.S. make sure to get an accurate shipping cost including taxes. Some vendors are, in my opinion overcharging the costs involved to send even materials across the border.

There is a co in Warwick RI called M& T mfg that shows tops for early Fords.
