Layed down some Washington Blue

Warmed up here in Ar to the mid 60's, so built a fire and got the shop up to 80. Considering I painted in a farm shop and not a booth, i'm tickled with how this turned out. Loved spraying this PPG paint, my old Devilbiss still has it! The engine was completed yesterday, so even though I've still got some work to do to the hood and grill, i'm going to start getting the engine back in and hooked up to run! Still a ways to go, but chipping away at it, having a blast doing it!

Hi Everyone, Epic photo. Farmboy, we need to find somewhere to get you some camo clothing.

Great looking job. Did you get the color code for the paint ? I have some I want to paint on my 36 Tudor. I hope it comes out as nice as yours. I just have front fenders to spray. Good job . . . Pat

Thanks ya'll....I was asked the other day, and I looked on the can, and couldn't find it. I"ll probably have to get it from the store, they called somebody in the know to get it. I love how this color turned out. I put a lot of paint on this cab, I think i'll have enough to do the hood and the grill, but will be cutting it close. they were confident a new batch would match this perfectly, but don't want to test that theory...lol I"ll try to find that code next time i'm in the store and pass it along on here.

Looks great!
I'd say you are moving a bit faster than "chipping away at it"
Good work!

I hope the truck is going along okay - - just checking to hear if you ever got the color formula for the paint. Thanks Pat

Thanks for asking, it's slowed down some as I had to get back in the fields and take advantage of a rare Feburay dry spell. I'm fixing to install the engine and get it ready to run, it's chained on the forklift ready to go, just waiting for that day off to work on it.

As far as the formula, it was not put on the can I got, but i'm going to message you the phone number of where I got it mixed! Bret.
