looking for the serial number needed for title
can anyone please help

On the frame near the steering box. ken ct.

Numbers in 3 positions on top of the left frame rail. Your best bet is next to the steering box. The inner fender may be covering it. original transmission is numbered top center above the clutch.

All #'s are on top of the frame rail …. no sheet metal covers the front one.

((((On my 35 and all other 35 to 40’s iv had or seen.))))
Front number is between the steering box and were the X member intersects.
Then then they are stamped about in the center and again at the rear were the cross member intersects the rail.
