Low to High Gear

Wondering the cause of chatter from low to high gear it smooths out when fully engaged. Any thoughts?

Maybe not letting the low pedal up smoothly or not backing off the throttle when you up shift.

I’ve noticed not everyone will back off the power when engaging high gear. You should. Also believe it or not I changed from generic to Valvoline oil and it made the the clutch smoother.

Re: Low to High Gear

This is caused by either driver technique or a weak clutch spring, or both.

Our '21 Touring did the same when I first started driving it.

No more...It either got "broke in" or I learned how to drive it. Just saying...
