Looking for machine shop in GA

Recently purchased a shell style bearing kit for my 1930 Model A block. Local (Savannah, GA) machine shops cannot do the line bore because their bore bar is too large in diameter. Can anyone recommend a machine shop in the GA, SC, FL area who has the ability to do this work?

Have you contacted Dreamwerks Model A engines in NC? Tennessee is probably a little too far.

Boreing bars come come in numerous sizes. Sounds like they just might not want to mess with it.

Normally, a shop only has bar sizes in the size of bearings they work on. The bearing sizes are bigger then a Model A.

You would have to get one that was about 1 1/8, to 1 1/4 inch. Guessing, a 72, or 96 inch bar would run about 1200.00.

One engine, wouldn't be worth it, and cast iron dust really eats up bars, and bar bearings.
