My new iron Winfields.

I don't remember if I asked this in the past or not. The first iron Winfield has been machined, pressure tested, and is supposed to be going on an engine very soon. Another is slated to be tested by hardtimes as soon as I can get it to him.

That brings me to the question as to how many people are going to be interested in ordering one of these, beyond the few people who have already committed. I have emails from at least a dozen people wanting to send me money, but I have refused to take more than a couple of deposits, since I wanted to make sure of the castings and machining before committing to production.

Machining is ready. Castings are good enough to warrant my commitment to producing these in quantity now. The question remains- how many people are interested?

Email me if you are interested and I will keep a better list and figure out how many the first run will be.

My interest was in two aluminum Thomas heads.......... 6-1 or 7-1

I would rather not.

But if overall sales demand it...

Tod, What C/R's are you making?
Can you give a ball park figure on the cost and shipping to 07646 ?
Thanks, Mike

Tod, I know that I would definitely prefer the Winfield script. Once you have machined the crowsfoot head, could you please let us know which head gasket you recommend?? Thanks

6:1 and 7:1. Price is $400.00. I just shipped one to Connecticut (WAAAAY over insured) and it was something like 70 dollars.

I'm only really interesting in it if it says Winfield.

Thanks for posting the links to my IG page Tod.
The ford barn is not very IPhone friendly for adding pics.

I will be bring my car to my engine guys shop to get
A real world compression ratio of the head.

I hope the weather keeps holding out.

My 7:1 crowfoot in the mail ;) !

Hey Tod,
I know, but forgot answer. You have said 'added head surface thickness'. Is there enough thickness to increase cr if wanted/needed ?

BTW...If it is helpful, I'll test anything that you send this way ! The alum Winfield off and this B is in waiting :)
