Wireless Turn Signals
 

Thought someone might like to check out these new wireless turn signals I found on another site . They are new to me but probably not to others , pretty neat if you dont have any . Site says currently sold out , but you could get on their list I guess .

Too bad there is such a lack of info on their website. It looks like the provided parts are for the rear only. Looking at the part that mounts on the license holder, I don't think it would be easy to see, especially by today's distracted drivers. I plan to use LogoLites system. While still not ideal, I feel superior to this system.

gotta agree with slammin - I doubt very much that drivers today would notice that, not unless it's incredibly super bright when it's activated.

I have one on one of my Model T's. They aren't really a turn indicator, more of a suggestor. Not very bright, they work OK at night, but very hard to see during the daytime. Certainly not a replacement for a genuine turn signal, but probably marginally better than nothing.

I just don't understand why they still make these god awful looking thing's to clamp onto the steering column.

What's next, airbags bolted to the dash that look like a packed parachute?

I have a set of the LogoLites system. I have had numerous people tell me they can be seen easily. For that I like them........BUT I do not like the controller. I have it attached by the magnet supplied on the LEFT side of the steering column on the fuel tank. It is not easily used to turn off signal right after making the turn. I wish the Stalk control would have been offered.

Hey Dave, thanks for sharing.
Didn't know that wireless system is available. I can see a larger market for such a 'highly visible' light system. Wonder if any other wireless systems are available with better lights ?

Thanks Davehc for posting this. Always good to look at different options, and looks pretty easy to take off the car for the car shows to look authentic if anyone goes that route.

I agree , and I still do that along with my turn signals , BUT , it's amazing how many people just wave at you when passing because few people even know what you are doing anymore when useing the arm / turn / thingy . :D

The first day I owned my ‘30 Phaeton I used my arm signal to indicate my turn....the guy who tried to pass me had to take the ditch. I ordered logo-lights that day, installed them when received and, though not wireless, were easy to install and I love them.

Wireless turn and stop signals have been around a long time in the towing industry.

I don’t think those are currently in production. Website has been the same for 2 or 3 years.

Arm signals were part of the ‘in car’ driving test when I got my initial drivers license. I don’t think it is even covered in the written test any more. I still use arm signals some times, but worry the other drivers don’t understand them.
