Good deal!
I’ve been doing this fo awhile and my pictures are still hit and miss.
I can take four pictures of the same subject, three of them will not post and one will. Must be Internet magic because I can’t figure it out

The cameras readjust the photo file size from photo to photo based on a lot of factors. Also, the email trick isn't the best way to downsize the photo file size. I would guess that may be where you are getting the inconsistency. It works much better if you use an app to adjust the size.

Most computers have a program called Paint that works ok. I prefer MS Photo Manager, but it is a little more difficult to download. There are other apps / programs that work well, or set the camera to take lower resolution photos to begin with.

I think the trick is your camera has to be at least 15 years old, computer 10 years old, and yer phone is just in your pocket for calls.

I don’t have any of those problems. I’ve got a 10 and 11 year old grand daughters that live with me!

Can't help you with an iphone, but I am sure there are apps that work with them.
