John won the 4H "Grand Champion" award in the Self Determination category at the Minnesota State Fair for the restoration of his 1928 AA Ford Truck. John is a FordBarn member.

There is an AACA National Meet at Mankato, MN in July 2016. I'm trying to get him to enter it in that meet. Maybe with some encouragement from us guys at FordBarn, he will take it and we will see it compete at a national level. It would also be nice to see it at the MARC National Meet in Ohio in June 2016.

Congratulations John! MN State fair was one of the high points in the fall when the wife and I lived in Rochester, MN. Great food, and the exhibits that the high school students showed were outstanding.
