Here's a '34 PU I'd love to get back. I sold this to Frank Root in 1973. An expanding family forced me to sell it after 13 years. It didn't look like this, but I sure did have a lot of fun with it as a high school kid. Frank took 25 years to get it done and has been driving the wheels off of it for the last 10 or so years.

Here is a picture of my 33. It used to be my Dad's, he got it in 1953 from some freinds of the family that bought it new and used it on there farm. This truck has stayed within a 15 mile radius of where it was bought new......

Here is "Merlot", the 1934 Pickup that I have owned since 1957. I finished the restoration in June 2009. He now is powered by a 1954 Meteor (Mercury) engine.

Please don't get upset but my first 34pu took a lot of work and I know rods are frowned upon here but it was snatched from being bulldozed under for a lake. All I had was a rusted cab & frame - no running gear etc.
'Lil Red is my current ride and she has been fun - although not as easy to drive as the 1st one. |
Re: The Official '32-'34 Truck Thread How 'bout some B76 open cabs (roadster pickups)? Who has some photos to post of those?

Here is my work in progress. This is the day I bought it. Cup of Joe and roll of duct tape. It now has a flatty in it hooked to a T-5. Hope to be driving next year. Al K.

Re: The Official '32-'34 Truck Thread What rear did you use? ratio? coil overs or transverse spring? Cornhuskers kit for the T-5?
