'34 sedan and Victoria fenders

I read where '34 sedan and Victoria rear fenders the same except for the lack of a hole in the fender for the fuel filler in the Victoria ?
Can anyone verify this ?

From what I was able to understand there is an oblong hole at the inner edge of the rear fender. It is not visible when the fender is mounted. I was told it is for the fuel filler pipe.

Yeah, there is a slot for a wrench to screw the neck into the tank like a pickup. I had a 34 sedan delivery and it has a left rear fender that looks very much like a Victoria fender. However if you take a tape measure in the center of the wheel opening at the bead and measure up across to the inner edge, the sedan delivery and Victoria are different, if I remember correctly the difference is about 3/4". I think the sedan delivery fender was wider but that was a long time ago. I don't think you can make a sedan fender into a Victoria fender by cutting a slot in it but maybe someone here has.
