Strange 36 rear drums

I had a 35/36 rear end that had the strangest drums on it. They were "rocky mountain style" and had studs for both bolt patterns. You could put either 35 or 36 wheels on them.
I don't know if they were production of aftermarket. They looked to be as old as the rear end.
Anybody know?

It's one of the versions made, perhaps earlier using old machines
