like to find info BW overdrive
 

Recently I bought a fordor equipped with BW overdrive. Apart from articles found on the net and info from Tom .E . I like to find a manual with detailed instruction for overhaul etc. Anybody have such ? Thanks for reading

The blue "Motors Manuals" that were produced in the 40's and 50's had a section on Borg Warner overdrives. You can sometimes find them at swap meets.

Try oldcarmanual.com. I beleve they have an entire B-W manual (in 2 or 3 volumes) as prepared for '55+ Chevies. The Borg Warner O.D.s were the same regardless of car brand application. The referred to manual is downloadable.

i found a ford service manual from the 50's that covers it in some detail. ive rebuilt several for model a's if you need specific info email me [email protected]
