Just wondering if folks read the responses before replying.

Re: Just wondering if Yes. If responses look OK, then I move on. Nothing to add.
|
Re: Just wondering if I understand what you are asking.
Most conversations amongst large groups of people, will have a tendency to go into many other directions. Very good point. Enjoy. |
Re: Just wondering if Since it looks like nobody else is going to respond to your thread, I guess I will. ;-)

Re: Just wondering if I understand your post too. Seems rather redundant to "pile on" a correct answer. Maybe if something new or a "tweak" needs to be added it should be posted. Otherwise, are we just voting and/or confirming; or proving our vast, individual knowledge???

Re: Just wondering if If adequately answered by someone, let it be. What did I just do:(

LOL, good response for reply #5. :D |
Re: Just wondering if The subject is pretty well covered, so I won't respond either. [smiley face]

Re: Just wondering if I'm sorry, what was the question?
|
Re: Just wondering if Note to Ryan: Maybe the addition of a "Like" button would slow down redundant replies like "X2" and "Ditto".
As for reading other responses before replying myself, I read them but it is clear many either don't read them or don't understand them. If others have made the correct response, I usually move on. I once posted about engine timing and copped a blast from a member (now banned) who clearly did not understand or did not read my post carefully enough. |
Re: Just wondering if Occasionally guilty - I will admit that sometimes when reading strings, not all of it sinks in like it should. Have tried, been working on rereading strings a couple of times before posting.
|
Re: Just wondering if If you really want to see a case where people don't read before replying, just go to either the MARC or MAFCA Facebook pages. I swear nobody with their little itsy-bitsy cell phone screens bother to read what has been said before, much less the original question!. "Why won't my car run"? 250 people replying and 150 of them telling the person to change from 6 to 12 volts, Another 50 telling them because they are running the wrong kind of oil, and nobody has a clue as to what is really causing the problem, but everyone wants to be in there with an answer.
A pitfall of our technology age. |
Re: Just wondering if Good responses, thanks
