Steering box sector spline

Does someone know what size tapered spline the 1933-34 steering box sector shaft has got?

I think that the spline remained pretty constant from '32 through '48 at least. The only thing that varied was the "blocker teeth" which force you to install the pitman arm in one position and that can be gotten around.

Are they possibly 1-1/8”-32 tapered spline?

Actually 36 tooth full circle spline with 4 blocked teeth, leaving 32 teeth total

I don't think that there is a standard for it. It would be s proprietary size and pitch. A person would have to copy a nice clean example of one. I don't know if it was cut or if it was broached either. As was mentioned it does have a key section that fits into a keyway on the pitman arm to properly locate the steering on center.

Maybe someone can measure one for you but I don't have one. All the stuff I have is either Model A or Gemmer II designs.

It is .750 taper per foot. The serrations are a 90 degree included angle.
