rumble seat step plate 1930 round style

I have set the step plate on the bumper where it seems reasonable, but before mounting would like to know if there are any dimensions or better locations?

Should it be up or down or somewhere else to be correct for judging?

Thanks

I think you have it pretty close to where it should be,
Hope your judging goes well.

Re: rumble seat step plate 1930 round style

While on the subject to round step plates, I found a one piece all cast iron round step plate with integral bracket in a bunch of Model A stuff, has A 70480 cast in the underside of the plate. Is this an original or some type of reproduction, as most of the ones I've seen are two piece with an aluminum plate the is held to the bracket with a carriage bolt?
