Speedo Frame Clip Installation

I was reinstalling my speedo cable today and was having trouble putting the frame clip on. Do I have to remove the floorboards or jack the body up or am I missing something?

you might have to remove the floor board. if you do not have enough room to get the bolt in from under the car.
