Gear Shift Mechanism Hardware

have a 1940 ford deluxe. everything was restored but having trouble finding what part #7314 that goes in front of felt washer #7323. i also cannot find what #s 3476-s and #351341-s are. Looks like some kind of washer. can someone help point in right direction? And yes i have been all over Macs, Bob Drake, etc etc

Have you called Mac VanPelt?

Re: Gear Shift Mechanism Hardware

351341-S7 is a 5/16" (5/64'x5/8') spring washer, I think there is a number missing
on 3476-S

Check this link. https://docplayer.net/20705728-Ford-...t-repairs.html
"The shoe has a leather seal in the upper end, P/N 01A-7314 (doesn’t appear to be
available any more). This is not only to keep grease in the levers and dirt out, but it
keeps the shifter tube from rattling around. You could probably make a new one out of
leather, but I found that three 7/8” ID x 1” OD O-rings fit perfectly in there, si
de-by-side,
and do the job quite well. Make sure it’s clean and oiled or greased when you put it backtogether."
