Campgrounds for 2019 MARC Dearborn Meet
 

I would like to go to the 2019 MARC Dearborn Meet. This would be a first tine for a meet in Dearborn



I would be coming down from Northern Ontario, Canada with my truck/camper and car trailer with my original 1930 Town Sedan for Fine Point Original Judging.


What are the camping options for this meet?


Where is the closest Campground to the meet?


Distance to the meet location?


Is there anyone else using a campground for the meet?


Which campground are you using?

Jim, I know of two large State Park Campgrounds that are about 25 miles from Dearborn.
Sterling State Park near Monroe with 256 sites and Camp Lord Willing RV& Campground with 100 sites. You might want to check these out. Both of these are south of Dearborn. There may be others out to the west but I am not aware.

I know of a couple of private ones which are 35+ miles from Dearborn.

If you go to Sterling you will need a Michigan Recreation pass for your truck it $11 a year for residents IDK what it costs for non Residents.

On Jim's behalf, thanks for the info Bob... Looking at the map the Detroit greenfield campground would be a good choice, all else being equal because it's a short hop to Michigan Ave/ US12 a direct shot into Dearborn and a Model A friendly drive.

Thanks for the directions from the Greenfield Campground to Dearborn - that makes it easier. Any traveling I do from the campground to the meet location will be with my Town Sedan. There will probably be one day or two I suspect that the car will have to be left at the meet location overnight for the judging the next day
